About Solidarity LA

Solidarity LA intends to produce a community-driven platform for the diverse economy in the region. Our top goals are to:

  1. Make visible the solidarity economy in Los Angeles
  2. Strengthen the solidarity economy and its community in Los Angeles

Our goal is to help foster a strong network of groups working to strengthen the local solidarity economy.
Current guidelines for cooperative and collectives:

  • Smaller groups (ideally 50 people or less)
  • Practice solidarity economics
  • Offer mission-driven services or products
  • Aim to uplift and protect the Los Angeles community
